Harris: The EU is united on trade and tariffs
Dublin, May 24 (Hibya) – Ireland’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, Trade, and Defence and Deputy Prime Minister Simon Harris stated that the European Union is united on matters of trade and tariffs.
Minister Harris emphasized the EU’s unity on trade and tariffs, saying: “The trade relationship between the EU and the US exceeds €4 billion per day.”
He added that this is significant for people on both sides of the Atlantic: “The time has come for mutual respect and serious negotiations. I’m grateful to Maroš Šefčovič for all his efforts.”
