Harris: Today's G20 meeting is more important than ever
Dublin, February 20 (Hibya) – Irish Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade, Minister of Defence, and Deputy Prime Minister Simon Harris stated that the G20 meeting in Johannesburg is more important than ever.
Irish Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade, Minister of Defence, and Deputy Prime Minister Harris is attending the G20 Foreign Ministers’ Meeting in Johannesburg.
Emphasizing the importance of today’s G20 meeting, Harris said, “Ireland remains committed to global engagement by addressing urgent issues such as climate change, the war in Ukraine, humanitarian crises in the Middle East and Sudan, and many other pressing matters.”
Harris noted that he would meet with counterparts from around the world to discuss challenges and work towards meaningful actions.
