Harris welcomes the release of Israeli hostages
Dublin, January 30 (Hibya) - Irish Minister for Foreign Affairs, Trade, and Defense, as well as Deputy Prime Minister Simon Harris, welcomed the release of Israeli and Thai hostages held by the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement today.
Minister Harris stated that the release of Israeli and Thai hostages is a relief for their families and an important moment for the continuation of the ceasefire.
Emphasizing his satisfaction with the latest developments, Harris called on all parties to fulfill their commitments under the ceasefire and hostage release agreement.
Harris also welcomed the increasing levels of humanitarian aid reaching Gaza, stating: "This must continue rapidly. We need to see the restoration of essential services, housing, and a clear framework for the return of displaced persons. All remaining hostages must be released and reunited with their families."
