Washington, May 30 (Hibya) - United States (US) Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth met with New Zealand Defense Minister Chris Penk as part of the Shangri-La Dialogue.
US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth met with New Zealand Defense Minister Chris Penk during the Shangri-La Dialogue held in Singapore.
Commenting on the meeting, Hegseth said he was pleased to meet with Penk.
Hegseth stated that they expect New Zealand to make progress in contributing to joint defense activities and highlighted the importance of defense cooperation between the two countries.
It was reported that the meeting took place within the framework of the Shangri-La Dialogue, where regional and global security issues were discussed.
