Herzog: Antisemitism is a global emergency
Jerusalem, December 21 (Hibya) – Israeli President Isaac Herzog said they are mourning those who lost their lives in the attack in Australia, stressing that antisemitism is a global emergency.
Speaking at a memorial ceremony held in Jerusalem, President Herzog recalled that a week has passed since the attack that took place in the Australian city of Sydney and said: “We mourn those who lost their lives. We pray for the wounded. We stand with you.”
Emphasizing that antisemitism is a global emergency, Herzog added: “Confronting lies, rejecting hatred, and defending humanity require moral clarity and leadership from every nation. We stand united.”
