IDF: Attempted Weapons Smuggling from Jordan to Israel Foiled
Jerusalem, May 5 (Hibya) – The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that security forces thwarted an attempt to smuggle weapons from Jordan into Israel.
According to an IDF statement, security forces foiled an attempt to smuggle weapons from Jordan into Israel.
As part of a planned operation conducted yesterday, the IDF, in cooperation with the Bik’a and Emekim Brigade and the Israeli Police, thwarted the smuggling attempt and seized four pistols in the northern region of the brigade. “The confiscated weapons were handed over to the Israeli Police for further processing,” the statement said.
