The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) stated that the military drill will be conducted today from morning until noon.

The statement said: "The military exercise will take place today from morning until noon around the Tel HaShomer base. During the exercise, there will be increased movement of vehicles and security personnel, and some roads will be closed. Additionally, from morning until evening, another military drill will take place in the coastal area between Rosh HaNikra and Nahariya. There will be heavy naval traffic and the sound of explosions may be heard. There is no security threat."
