Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said drones, cruise and ballistic missiles were used in the unprecedented attack.

Israeli air defense systems, allegedly backed by the US, Jordanian and British air forces, intercepted most of the drones and some cruise missiles coming from Syria, Iraq and Jordan before they reached Israel at around 02:00 local time.

As air raid sirens sounded in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem and other Israeli cities, explosions of drones and missiles shot down by the Israeli air defense system could be heard in the night sky.

Some shells penetrated the defense shield, but the only casualty reported in the early morning was a 10-year-old boy near a desert town in southern Israel.

The IDF said a military base in southern Israel was slightly damaged.

The New York Times, citing Israeli intelligence sources, reported that the main targets were Israeli military installations in the occupied Golan Heights in the north and the Negev Desert in the south.

Hezbollah, Tehran's ally in Lebanon, fired volleys into the Golan at the same time as the Iranian bombardment, and Iranian-backed Houthi forces in Yemen also claimed to have participated in the attack.

Iran, through its representative at the UN, said the massive airstrike, dubbed "Operation True Promise", was in retaliation for the April 1 bombing of an Iranian diplomatic compound in Damascus and that the matter would be considered closed unless further action was taken by Israel.
"The matter can be considered concluded. However, if the Israeli regime makes another mistake, Iran's response will be much harsher. This is a conflict between Iran and the rogue Israeli regime that the United States should stay away from."
