The Iranian Foreign Ministry issued a statement regarding the death of martyr Yahya Sinwar, head of the political bureau of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement.

The ministry's statement included the following:

“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran expresses its condolences on the martyrdom of Yahya Sinwar, a great hero who spent 22 years in the occupiers' prison and wrote several works, including the novel 'Thorn and Carnation,' ultimately falling on the battlefield with his weapon in hand against the occupying army, to the great and patient Palestinian people, the Islamic Ummah, and to all free and dignified people around the world.”
