Israel and the United States sign Memorandum of Understanding in energy and artificial intelligence fields
Jerusalem, July 8 (Hibya) – The State of Israel and the United States of America (USA) today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to advance cooperation in the fields of energy and artificial intelligence (AI).
The State of Israel and the United States signed a Memorandum of Understanding to promote cooperation in the areas of energy and artificial intelligence.
The signing ceremony took place at Blair House in Washington with the participation of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, US Secretary of the Interior Doug Burgum, US Secretary of Energy Chris Wright, and the ambassadors of both countries, Mike Huckabee and Yechiel Leiter.
Prime Minister Netanyahu said:
“Honorable Ministers, Honorable Ambassadors, the future belongs to innovators. America and Israel are among the world’s leading innovation nations. Artificial intelligence is now the engine of innovation and will create unimaginable things in the future. This field includes challenges as well, since it can be misused; however, it can also lead to unimaginably positive results. I believe we can lead in this field. This is a day to remember. Not every signing ceremony is this important — but this one truly is.”
