In a statement, the ministry said: “Humanitarian aid in Gaza is for the people, not for Hamas. Despite Hamas' attempts to obstruct and the UN's opposition, the Gaza Humanitarian Fund, an American initiative, began delivering food packages to civilians today. Hamas even tried to set up roadblocks to prevent Gazans from receiving the aid. But it didn’t work. 8,000 food packages were delivered to civilians.”
