Israel launched a rare attack in central Beirut
Stockholm, September 30 (Hibya) - Israel has launched a rare attack on the centre of Beirut as Lebanon and Yemen face new attacks.
As Israeli airstrikes against Houthi rebels in Yemen continue, the attack, if confirmed, would be the first Israeli strike on the centre of the Lebanese capital since 2006.
A Palestinian militant group says three of its leaders were killed in an Israeli strike in central Beirut early Monday. In its first strike since 2006 in the centre of the Lebanese capital, the Israeli army has expanded its offensive against Iran's allies in the region with strikes in Lebanon and Yemen.
The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), one of the militant groups involved in the fight against Israel, announced that three senior figures were killed in the Beirut attack.
