Italian Defense Minister Crosetto: Principles do not change according to individuals
Rome, May 1 (Hibya) – Italian Defense Minister Guido Crosetto stated that principles do not change based on individuals, saying: “What applies to Dr. Prestipino applies to every citizen.”
Minister Crosetto emphasized that the culture of suspicion and slander against innocent people before any trial is a uniquely Italian trait, one that does not serve truth but merely attacks opponents:
“What applies to Dr. Prestipino applies to every citizen: the media lynching against him is unacceptable. And someone who now, as a judge, claims to do the same to him as he once did to others, is not a true guarantor: principles do not change based on individuals.”
