Italian Foreign Minister Tajani meets Syria's new leader al-Shara
Damascus, January 10 (Hibya) - Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani held a meeting with Syria's new leader Ahmed al-Shara.
Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Tajani announced that he met with Syria's new political leader Ahmed al-Shara in Damascus.
Tajani emphasized that starting today, new political, diplomatic, and friendly relations between Italy and Syria are being initiated. "We are ready to support the economic and social revival of a rich Mediterranean country with ties to Italy and history," he said.
