According to information from China Railway Group, the G1137 EMU train departed today at 16:35 Beijing time, officially launching the Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway.
The train can travel at a speed of 350 kilometers per hour, reducing the travel time between Jakarta and Bandung to 46 minutes.
This development marks Indonesia's entry into the era of high-speed railways and represents a significant achievement jointly realized by China and Indonesia as part of the Belt and Road Initiative.
