Kallas: Rising tensions between India and Pakistan are concerning
Rome, May 2 (Hibya) – The EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, emphasized that the increasing tensions between India and Pakistan are a cause for concern.
The EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, stated that the growing tensions between India and Pakistan are worrying.
In her statement, Kallas said: "I urge both parties to exercise restraint and encourage them to pursue dialogue to de-escalate the situation. Escalating tensions serve no one. Today, I spoke with India’s Foreign Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar and Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar to convey these messages."
