Kallas: Russia can no longer use energy as a weapon against us
Brussels, May 6 (Hibya) – EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission Kaja Kallas announced that Russia can no longer use energy as a weapon.
EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and European Commission Vice-President Kaja Kallas stated that Russia can no longer use energy as a weapon.
Kallas said, "Europe has already significantly reduced its dependence on Russian energy. Today, we announced our plan to end all Russian energy imports by 2027. This marks a permanent break. Russia can no longer use energy as a weapon against us."
