Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders pointed out that it has been 51 days since any humanitarian aid has entered Gaza and said: "Israeli Defense Minister Katz said, ‘Israel's policy is clear: no humanitarian aid will be allowed into Gaza.’ This is a war crime. We must end our complicity. No more military aid to Netanyahu’s war machine.”

In contrast to the senator's statement, Defense Minister Katz emphasized that Israel is acting in full compliance with international law and said:

"The humanitarian situation in Gaza is being continuously monitored, and large amounts of aid have been delivered. When additional aid is necessary, it must be ensured that it does not pass through the Palestinian Islamic Movement, which uses humanitarian aid to control the civilian population and profit at others' expense; these profits fund and sustain the terrorist infrastructure used to target IDF soldiers and Israeli civilians.”

Katz called on “the international community and relevant actors to ensure that future aid reaches the people directly and safely, bypassing the Palestinian Islamic Movement. We are grateful to our great friend, the United States, which stands with Israel, understands the realities on the ground, and supports our right to self-defense against the hypocrisy of some international organizations.”
