Ukrainian Foreign Minister Kuleba expressed his satisfaction at meeting with the new Dutch Foreign Minister Caspar Veldkamp in Kyiv.

Expressing his gratitude that Veldkamp's first international visit was to Ukraine, Kuleba said, "In our meetings in Kyiv, we discussed additional military aid, especially air defence. Strong decisions are critical to protecting the lives of Ukrainians and maintaining long-term peace and stability in Europe."

Kuleba thanked the Netherlands for working with partners to provide Ukraine with another Patriot system and for investing in purchasing weapons from Ukrainian manufacturers, adding, "We also discussed Ukraine's EU accession negotiations and the expected outcomes of the NATO Summit in Washington."
