Lahbib: EU maintains strong cooperation with UN Human Rights
Brussels, January 29 (Hibya) - The European Union (EU) Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness, and Crisis Management, Hadja Lahbib, met with the United Nations (UN) High Commissioner for Human Rights, Volker Türk.
Lahbib stated that her meeting with the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Volker Türk, focused on global humanitarian crises and concerning violations of International Humanitarian Law.
She noted that views were exchanged on missions in Syria and Ukraine, and issues related to Palestine, Moldova, and equality were discussed. "The EU maintains strong cooperation with UN Human Rights," she said.
