Lahbib: The EU is ready to assist the affected population in Tibet if requested
Brussels, January 7 (Hibya) – European Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness, and Crisis Management, Hadja Lahbib, stated that the European Union is ready to assist the affected population in Tibet following the powerful earthquake if requested.
European Commissioner Lahbib expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives caused by the strong earthquake in Tibet.
Emphasizing that her thoughts are with the victims and their families, Lahbib said, "The EU is ready to assist the affected population if requested."
