Lavrov: A new round of negotiations between Russia and Ukraine to be announced soon
Moscow, May 28 (Hibya) – Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov announced that a new round of negotiations between Russia and Ukraine will be announced soon.
Speaking at an international meeting attended by senior representatives responsible for security issues, Lavrov stated that Moscow will insist on the removal of all discriminatory laws in Ukraine in the upcoming round of direct negotiations.
Lavrov recalled that direct negotiations on resolving the conflict in Ukraine resumed on May 16 in Istanbul, saying: "During the negotiations that resumed on May 16 in Istanbul, we insisted on the repeal of all these discriminatory laws, and we will continue to do so in the next round of direct negotiations, which we will announce in the very near future."
