Lazzarini: "1.4 million people live on the streets in southern Rafah in plastic shacks"
Philippe Lazzarini, the Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA), stated that 1.4 million people live on the streets in Gaza, in plastic temporary shacks, in southern Rafah.
Lazzarini expressed concern that "this could lead to a military disaster among completely open and vulnerable individuals. I'm almost struggling to find words."
