Lebanese Parliament Speaker Berri Meets with Quint Committee Ambassadors
Beirut, March 11 (Hibya) - Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri met with the ambassadors of the Quint Committee in Lebanon.
The ambassadors of Qatar, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Arab Republic of Egypt, the United States, and the French Republic extended their congratulations to Berri on the occasion of Ramadan and the new government's approval by the parliament.
The meeting addressed recent developments in southern Lebanon and the necessity of Israel’s full withdrawal, as well as the follow-up on the efforts of the five-nation group to assist Lebanon.
Berri expressed his gratitude to the Quint Committee for its support of his country.
