Wellington, April 23 (Hibya) – New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon and the UK government emphasized joint economic growth.
The governments of New Zealand and the United Kingdom jointly emphasized the importance of economic growth. Prime Minister Christopher Luxon met with UK Secretary of State for Business and Trade, Jonathan Reynolds.
"Economic growth means more jobs, higher incomes, and more money in the pockets of our citizens. Free trade is one of the fundamental components of this growth," Luxon said, highlighting both governments' focus on development.
Accordingly, Luxon met in London with Secretary Jonathan Reynolds and Environment, Food and Rural Affairs Secretary Steve Reed to explore shared opportunities between New Zealand and the UK.
