The medical aid sent from China to Lebanon arrived yesterday at Beirut's Rafic Hariri International Airport.

It was reported that the donated materials included an anesthesia machine, disposable tracheal intubation tubes, surgical gowns, and oxygen masks, totaling 65 types of materials weighing 60 tons.

China's Ambassador to Lebanon, Qian Minjian, and Lebanon's Health Minister, Firaz Abyad, attended the handover ceremony.

Ambassador Qian emphasized that China, as a good friend and partner of Lebanon, firmly supports Lebanon's efforts to protect its sovereignty, security, and national dignity, while strongly opposing random attacks on civilians.

Lebanon's Health Minister, Firaz Abyad, expressed his gratitude to China, noting that China has always stood by Lebanon during difficult times, both during the pandemic and after the Beirut port explosion.
