Prime Minister Meloni honoured General Carlo Alberto Dalla Chiesa, his wife Emanuela Setti Carraro, and agent Domenico Russo on the anniversary of the Via Carini massacre, saying: “Their sacrifices remind us of the importance of never lowering our guard in the fight against organized crime and defending the values of law and justice with determination.”
Meloni noted that General Dalla Chiesa's courage and dedication in the fight against terrorism and the mafia are an example and guide for them. He added, “It is our duty to honor his memory by continuing this commitment with resolve. Italy will not forget.”
