Mexico plans to respond to Trump's tariff increases in kind
Washington, February 3 (Hibya) - The Mexican government is preparing to announce new tariffs on imports from the United States today, following U.S. President Donald Trump's threat to impose high tariffs on goods imported from Mexico, Canada, and China.
The Canadian government has already announced tariff increases on U.S. goods starting tomorrow, when Trump's tariffs are set to take effect.
Mexico stated over the weekend that it would respond in kind to Trump's tariffs, while the Chinese government announced that it would file a lawsuit against the United States at the World Trade Organization.
