Milatovic: We continue to be a steadfast ally of the United States
Podgorica, May 24 (Hibya) – President of Montenegro Jakov Milatovic stated that Montenegro continues to be a steadfast ally and partner of the United States.
President Milatovic announced that he held a meeting with U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau.
He said they discussed strengthening the strategic partnership between Montenegro and the U.S.: “The focus was on boosting cooperation in two key areas — defense and economy. We agreed to further strengthen our bilateral ties through joint initiatives and more intensive dialogue.”
Milatovic highlighted the importance of the upcoming NATO summit in The Hague and the need to enhance the alliance with additional investments in security and defense, adding: “Montenegro continues to be a steadfast ally and partner of the United States.”
