Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar held a phone call with Kaja Kallas, the EU’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice President of the European Commission.

Regarding the conversation, Minister Saar said: “I provided Kaja Kallas with updated information on the situation in Gaza. Hamas has used humanitarian aid entering Gaza to fuel its war machine. If the Palestinian Islamic Movement continues to steal aid from the people and profit from it, the war will never end. Therefore, Israel must change the way it facilitates the entry of goods. The international community and any country that wants humanitarian aid to reach civilians instead of Hamas should support Israel’s efforts—not obstruct them!”
