Minister Tsahkna: Estonia ranks 2nd in the 2025 World Press Freedom Index
Tallinn, May 2 (Hibya) – Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna announced that Estonia ranked 2nd in the 2025 World Press Freedom Index.
Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna reported that Estonia was ranked 2nd by Reporters Without Borders in the 2025 World Press Freedom Index.
Minister Tsahkna stated: “Protecting the rights of free media and journalists is the foundation of democracy and requires constant attention. Estonia is proud to co-chair the Media Freedom Platform and to defend press freedom and independent journalism.”
