Mixed performance in European stock markets
Istanbul, July 20 (Hibya) – European markets showed mixed performance on the final trading day of the week. The FTSE 100 in the United Kingdom advanced, while Italy's FTSE MIB declined. Other major European indices remained largely flat.
European stock indices posted mixed performance on the final trading day of the week.
In the United Kingdom, the FTSE 100 Index gained 0.27% to reach 10,600.37 points. In Italy, the FTSE MIB Index fell 0.94% to 51,882.28 points.
The pan-European STOXX Europe 600 Index traded flat at 641.53 points, while Germany's DAX Index stood at 24,830.98 points and France's CAC 40 Index traded at 8,338.81 points.
