Mixed performance in foreign exchange markets
Istanbul, July 6 (Hibya) - The U.S. dollar posted a mixed performance against major currencies during the trading day in the foreign exchange markets.

The euro/dollar pair fell 0.05 percent to 1.1430, while the pound/dollar pair declined 0.07 percent to trade at 1.3342. The Australian dollar/U.S. dollar pair lost 0.10 percent, while the New Zealand dollar/U.S. dollar pair dropped 0.40 percent.
Meanwhile, the U.S. dollar gained 0.37 percent against the Japanese yen to 161.97 and rose 0.07 percent against the Turkish lira to 46.8174. The dollar/Swiss franc and dollar/Canadian dollar pairs also advanced by 0.15 percent and 0.07 percent, respectively.
On the other hand, the euro/Japanese yen pair rose 0.31 percent, while the euro/pound pair gained 0.02 percent.
