Moldovan President Sandu: We are grateful for the EU's continued assistance
Chisinau, July 11 (Hibya) - Moldovan President Maia Sandu met with European Commissioner for Neighbourhood and Enlargement, Oliver Varhelyi.
Moldovan President Sandu held a meeting with Commissioner Varhelyi, who is in Moldova, to start the regional screening process.
Sandu noted that they discussed Moldova's progress to EU membership at the meeting. "We discussed issues of regional security and support for our modernization efforts. I expressed my gratitude for the EU's continued assistance," she said.
