NATO countries endorse Stoltenberg's Ukraine plan
Oslo, April 4 (Hibya) - NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg's request for a €100 billion long-term fund for Ukraine has been approved by NATO countries to implement the plan.
At a meeting of NATO foreign ministers in Brussels yesterday, NATO gave the go-ahead for the preparation of a concrete plan that, according to Stoltenberg, could be adopted at the NATO summit in Washington in July.
The plans mean that the alliance will play a greater role in coordinating support for Ukraine.
Stoltenberg's proposal also includes the creation of a separate five-year fund for military support to Ukraine.
