NATO foreign ministers to meet today for Ukranian support
Brussels, April 3 (Hibya) – NATO Foreign Ministers are meeting in Brussels today to discuss the long-term aid package for Ukraine.
At today's meeting, Nato ministers will discuss how to put military support for Ukraine on a long-term basis, including a proposed $107 billion five-year fund and a plan seen as a "Trump-proof" path.
Diplomats say NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg's proposals would give the Western alliance a more direct role in coordinating the supply of weapons, ammunition and equipment to Ukraine.
The plans will be discussed at a two-day meeting in Brussels to mark the 75th anniversary of NATO's founding, in preparation for the alliance leaders' summit in Washington in July.
