Pakistani Foreign Minister Dar holds evacuation meeting for citizens in Iran and Iraq
Islamabad, June 18 (Hibya) – Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a meeting regarding the evacuation of Pakistani citizens stranded in Iran and Iraq.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Dar chaired a meeting to review the ongoing evacuation of Pakistani citizens stranded in Iran and Iraq.
Foreign Minister Dar was briefed on the progress made so far and the evacuation plans for the coming days.
Expressing satisfaction with the efforts, Ishaq Dar instructed the Foreign Ministry to expedite the repatriation of Pakistani citizens in coordination with other agencies and to provide all necessary assistance to those still in Iran and Iraq.
Foreign Minister Dar also directed Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) to work in close coordination with the Foreign Ministry to ensure the smooth and effective implementation of the evacuation plans.
