According to a statement from the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Israel's boasting about the destruction of Jabalya is disrespectful to international legitimacy.

The statement said: "The Ministry calls for urgent international action to stop the genocide and the attacks by armed settler militias. The Israeli government proudly announced the complete destruction of the Jabalya refugee camp, which was heard and seen by the international community, and declared that it is now moving to the stage of destroying Beit Lahia and Beit Hanoun. The Ministry calls on the UN Security Council to fulfill its responsibility and stop Israel's disregard for relevant UN resolutions, particularly Resolution 2735 and the recommendations of the International Court of Justice, which require implementation within 12 months."
