Palestine: Decisions related to Palestine adopted in UNESCO World Heritage List
Ramallah, July 8 (Hibya) – The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that the decisions concerning Palestine were unanimously adopted in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs welcomed the unanimous adoption of four decisions regarding the protection of heritage sites belonging to the State of Palestine included in the List of World Heritage in Danger, during the 47th session of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee held in Paris from July 6 to 16.
The decisions include: the Old City of Jerusalem and its Walls, Hebron / Old City of Hebron, Saint Hilarion Monastery / Tell Umm Amer, and Palestine: the olive groves and vineyards south of Jerusalem – the Battir Cultural Landscape.
