Palestine: We appreciate Macron's stance
Ramallah, June 12 (Hibya) – The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that they appreciate French President Emmanuel Macron’s position and that the time has come to recognize the State of Palestine.
In the statement, the Palestinian Foreign Ministry emphasized that President Mahmoud Abbas’s message represents the entire Palestinian people.
They noted their appreciation of Macron’s stance and stressed that the time has come to recognize the State of Palestine.
Macron had said that Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas had drawn a path toward peace and made the following statement:
“Condemnation of terrorism, release of hostages, disarmament of Hamas, ending the war in Gaza, reforms, elections, a just and lasting peace for everyone in the region. This expresses the Palestinian people’s commitment to a two-state solution.”
