Palestinian Ambassador Al-Deek Participates in UN Conference on Protection of Holy Sites
Lisbon, November 28 (Hibya) – Palestinian Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Minister's Political Advisor, Ambassador Dr. Ahmed Al-Deek, participated in the United Nations (UN) Conference on Protection of Holy Sites held as part of the 10th Global Forum of the Alliance of Civilizations in Portugal.
Ambassador Al-Deek, Political Advisor to the Palestinian Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Minister, stated that the Palestinian people have been subjected to a war of destruction and displacement for 418 days.
Ambassador Al-Deek noted that the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem, is not far from the conditions of an ongoing gradual annexation process accompanied by ethnic cleansing, colonization, and crimes related to the theft of Palestinian lands.
