Palestinian Foreign Minister Mustafa meets Norwegian Foreign Minister Eide
Rome, April 26 (Hibya) – Palestinian Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Mustafa met with Norwegian Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide during his participation in the funeral ceremony of Pope Francis at the Vatican.

During the meeting, Mustafa stressed the urgent need to increase international pressure on Israel to stop the genocide against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and to open border crossings into the besieged area, which have been closed since early March due to Israeli occupation, warning that continued closure heightens the risk of worsening famine.
The Palestinian Minister also briefed Eide on the progress made by the Palestinian Government in advancing reform and development programs.
