The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the provocative statements of several Israeli officials calling for increased collective punishments, persecution of Palestinian citizens, and the demolition of settlements in the West Bank similar to actions in the Gaza Strip.

The ministry also strongly condemned attacks carried out by armed Israeli settlers, including setting fire to vehicles and properties belonging to Palestinians, which have gone unpunished under the protection of the occupation army and far-right ministers.

The ministry views these statements and attacks as pouring fuel on the fire and deliberately escalating conflict and violence. It emphasizes that political solutions are the only path to achieving calm and establishing peace.

The ministry called for genuine international intervention to halt genocide and forced displacement policies, demanding concrete steps to implement the two-state solution and protect the Palestinian people.
