Peskov: European leaders behave like weather vanes regarding Ukraine
Moscow, March 16 (Hibya) - Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that European leaders are changing their positions on the Ukraine ceasefire, behaving "like weather vanes."
Peskov joked: "In European cities, in Old Riga, in Tallinn, weather vanes on rooftops are very popular. And it seems that people, seeing them from childhood, start to imitate them."
He made the remark in response to a question from journalist Pavel Zarubin about the shifting positions of European leaders regarding a peaceful solution in Ukraine.
Commenting on European politicians who previously called for war and are now calling for a ceasefire, the Kremlin spokesman said: "Unfortunately, behavior like a weather vane has become an integral part of the European political establishment."
