Polish President Duda attended the ceremony at the Vatican
Rome, May 18 (Hibya) – Polish President Andrzej Duda attended Pope Leo XIV's papal oath ceremony at the Vatican.
President Duda said they attended the papal oath ceremony of Pope Leo XIV at the Vatican.
He noted that it was a symbolic day not only for the Church but also for Poland, stating: “Today's celebration exactly coincides with the 105th anniversary of the birth of Karol Wojtyła – Saint John Paul II.”
Duda added: “The great legacy of the Polish Pope, based on peace, courage, love of freedom and solidarity, as well as his beautiful example of personal holiness, should support the Holy Father's apostolic mission and help make the world a better place.”
