Polish President Duda sends condolences for writer and journalist Turski
Warsaw, February 18 (Hibya) - Polish President Andrzej Duda published a message in memory of Polish historian and journalist Marian Turski, who passed away.
President Duda stated that Marian Turski, a survivor of Auschwitz, a witness to the Holocaust, a guardian of memory, and a person who shared his personal testimonies with younger generations to prevent the tragedy of the Holocaust from repeating, has passed away.
Duda emphasized that Turski constantly spoke about the necessity of developing sensitivity to evil and added: "Honor to his memory."
