President Erdoğan speaks with Saudi Crown Prince Salman
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held a phone call with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman.
During the call, the conflict between Israel and Iran, as well as regional and global issues, were discussed.
President Erdoğan stated that Israel under Netanyahu’s administration poses the greatest threat to regional stability and security, and once again demonstrated this through its attack on Iran. He emphasized that Israel must be stopped to reduce tensions.
He noted that the international community’s silence on the occupation and genocide in Palestine has emboldened Israel’s unlawful and aggressive behavior. Erdoğan added that Israel’s attack on Iran, at a time when nuclear negotiations between the U.S. and Iran are ongoing, aims to sabotage peace efforts, and the attacks causing nuclear leaks once again reveal that Israel irresponsibly threatens regional and global security.
President Erdoğan stated that the region cannot bear another crisis, a destructive war could trigger irregular migration waves toward regional countries, and that nuclear disputes can only be resolved through continued negotiations.
