Putin meets with Russian Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Kozlov
Moscow, June 3 (Hibya) – Russian President Vladimir Putin held a meeting with the Russian Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, Alexander Kozlov.
Minister Kozlov briefed President Putin on the work being carried out under the national project called “Ecology.”
The meeting also covered current issues related to the ministry's operations.
Kozlov stated, “We have comprehensive plans for 12 cities, with 585 actions mapped out according to each pollutant. We have started similar work for new cities as well: seven are done, and by July, we will complete 22 plans. Each governor needs to see this plan in their regional operations and use it to drive reduction efforts.”
