Doha, May 2 (Hibya) – Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the Israeli airstrike targeting the area near the presidential palace in Damascus.

The statement described the attack as a clear violation of the sovereignty of the Syrian Arab Republic and a serious breach of international law:
"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar reiterates its warning that repeated attacks by the occupying force on Syria and Lebanon, along with the ongoing brutal war in Gaza, could trigger a cycle of violence and chaos in the region. In this regard, it calls on the international community to exert pressure on the occupying power to comply with international legitimacy resolutions. The Ministry also reaffirms the State of Qatar’s full support for Syria’s sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity, as well as the legitimate aspirations of the brotherly Syrian people for security and stability."
