Qatar condemns the historical maps published by the Israeli government
Doha, January 8 (Hibya) - The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned the so-called historical maps published through official accounts linked to the Israeli government, which reportedly include parts of the occupied Palestinian territories, Jordan, Lebanon, and Syria.
The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs considered the publication of these maps a clear violation of international legitimacy resolutions and international law.
The Ministry also warned that the publication of these maps undermines the chances of peace in the region, particularly amidst the ongoing brutal war in the Gaza Strip.
Furthermore, the Ministry emphasized that the international community must exert pressure on the Israeli occupation forces to comply with international legitimacy resolutions and oppose expansionist ambitions in Arab lands, fulfilling their legal and moral responsibilities.
